We are delighted to announce that zavvi.com will be the ‘Official Music & VIP Partner’ to RugbyRocks London 7s 2010 – a pioneering summer rugby 7s & music festival.
We’ll be hosting our very own Festival Stage with performances from international music artists including Feeder, Just Jack (DJ set), The Parlotones, Alex Gardne, Nixa and many more!
We will also be hosting a VIP hospitality marquee, complete with exclusive bar, a chill-out area and Jacuzzi. How very swish! VIPs will also have access to the zavvi.com VIP After-Party – a boat-cruise setting off from Richmond Pier and returning in the early hours.
Fans at RugbyRocks will have the chance to play the latest videogames courtesy of a zavvi.com Gaming Zone.
RugbyRocks hosts the opening leg of the inaugural National 7s Series, set to become the Twenty20 of rugby. Teams will also include sides from the IRB World Sevens Series and RFU Championship. Following RugbyRocks, the National 7s Series will be travel to Bath, Manchester and Newquay.
England’s opening game at the World Cup versus the USA will be shown on a giant outdoor screen making it the complete day out for sports fans. Stade Francais star and reigning IRB World Sevens Player of the Year, Ollie Phillips comments: ‘RugbyRocks is the ultimate summer’s day out – rugby, music and World Cup football. I’ll see you there’.
