I love the imersive storyline – I AM a gangster, in a tough gangster world – well, at least till bedtime.
The atmosphere, the humour, the story, the graphics, the cars, the guns, the soundtrack, the authentic character voice-overs, the violence – the whole shebang…The Mafia games are like movies unto themselves, but where you have a crucial role in determining the outcome – all set within a seemingly unlimited gamemap. Much more than just a tribute to the old mobster movies, the game puts you firmly in the wiseguys’ shoes. The second installment promises links to the first game but moves the timeline on with the promise of further downloadble content…if you don’t get whacked first!
Whenever I play this game – I feel like I’ve just been Made. A wise guy.

I think that Mafia 2 is a captivating game with brilliant characters interesting plotlines and great authenticity.
The brilliantness of the game is unmatched by any other similar game.
The cars, the buildings, the people, the atmosphere which has been wonderfully built up to submerge the player into the crazy lifestyle of the mafia in it’s time period.
No other mafia game so clearly captures the unique world which it’s set in and have you being sucked into the game itself.
The perfect collection of the games graphics and the way everything works, from the passers by on the streets, to the trees to the cars just draws you into to this new and exciting reality unlike any other.
Over all its is a brilliant game depicting the mafia lifestyle in a perfect way.
I love the fact it keeps my boyfriend occupied so much that I can get on with doing the ironing and having an early night!
